"Canal D' Amour" or "The channel of love" is a beach of exceptional beauty, which is located in the north compartment of Corfu,joining to of her villages, Peroulades and Sidari.It is a benchmark for every visitor of the island and located about 32 km north from the city of Corfu.
It is one of the most popular resorts in the Ionian and has gained international reputation, because of it's wonderfully carved white cliffs and  stunningly blue waters that make up an exotic backdrop. An array of sandy cliffs is rising from the sea and because of their friction with the waves have been formed in strange shapes.
The rocks forming the "Canal D' Amour" of Corfu, because of their fragile composition, allowed the sea and the corrosive action of the wind, to "corrugate" them, and so digging the canal below them, through the passage of time.

Among them is an underground path, which one can walk or take a rest from swimming. There is also great interest in the underwater part of this point, as there are several underwater caves, which are a challenge for all lovers of diving and exploring.

The myth says that if a couple swims together in these waters, they'll be together for eternity!

It is worth mentioning that in the village of Peroulades, there have been traces of Neolithic settlement discovered, dated back to 3000 B.C. and according to official data they are the senior on the island!
